Hello William! Thank you so much for commenting on my article. I think it wasn't just one client, but Enron's mess was a big part of why Arthur Andersen fell apart. Andersen was supposed to make sure Enron's money stuff was honest, but they didn't do a good job. They were making money from Enron as consultants and as auditors, so they didn't want to upset Enron. Plus, they destroyed some important documents when things got tough. All of this made people think they weren't doing their job right, so nobody trusted them anymore. The government got mad and took away their license, and that's why they went out of business. CMIIW, this is just from my understanding (after working on my MBA paper, lol).
